About Dr. Rooz Khosravi

As a second generation dentist in his family, Dr. Rooz’s interest in dentistry began early in his life. He grew up spending lots of time in his mother’s dental practice, and learning the importance of deeply caring about patients of all ages.

Dr. Rooz is an assistant professor of orthodontic at the University of Washington. He is the director of Interdisciplinary Clinic where patients are provided interdisciplinary dental care in collaboration with prosthodontics, periodontics, and pediatric dentistry departments. Along with teaching residents and dental students, Dr. Rooz conducts various research projects primarily focused on aligner therapy and digital orthodontics.

Dr. Rooz practices at PORTH a boutique clinic equipped with advanced digital orthodontic technology. He lectures internationally on digital orthodontics including 3D printing technology and an in-office aligner system.

Dr. Rooz was trained at the University of Washington after completion of his PhD degree in bone biology and a master’s degree in epidemiology.
